Semi-Precious Stones: Quick Introduction

You probably have heard of the terms of precious and semi-precious stones. A gemstone that is other than Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire is considered to be a Semi-precious stone.

As the list of Semi-precious stones goes on and on. Some common names are Garnet, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Pearl, Moonstone, Alexandrite, Peridot, Opal, Topaz, Citrine, zircon, Tanzanite, etc.

There is no scientific reason for the separation of semi-precious and precious stones. For example, Mineral beryl provides the varieties of both Emerald and Aquamarine, where Emerald is a  Precious stone and Aquamarine is a semi-precious stone.

The reason why diamond, emerald, ruby, and sapphire are precious stones is their rare nature and real value for money.

According to us,

“EVERY GEMSTONE IS A PRECIOUS STONE IF IT PROVIDES ANY REAL VALUE AND MEANING TO YOUR JEWELRY.”
